A reimagined eCommerce site. Bright, vibrant and easy to buy from.
RoRo Haulage are a Bedford-based waste disposal firm with a proven track record. They hire out skips, grab lorries and other plant. They also sell topsoil, compost, bark, sand and shingle.
When RoRo started selling deliverable items, the previous web developer added eCommerce to the existing website, but it proved a little unreliable.
We were engaged to rethink the website and build a light eCommerce solution into the site from the beginning. The branding also needed a refresh to make it more modern. The client wanted a bright, visually appealing site that made it easy for customers to buy from.
Our new branding introduced more colours, which allowed us to expand on the previous, mostly orange site. This opened the door to making the site much more eye-catching, with bold colours and subtle gradients.
The challenge was that the site needed to be dual-purpose. On one hand, it needed to provide information about the services RoRo offer. On the other, it needed to be an online shop. Our design team worked hard to bring these two facets together, whilst keeping them separate enough to ease the customer journey.
The end result was a striking site that's clean, easy to navigate and easy for customers to buy from.
Since the new site went live, RoRo have seen a 25% increase in enquires and a 20% increase in orders taken.
